Despite the potential benefits of CRM, some Real Estate Businesses opt to implement very basic solutions that offer limited functionality. The issue related to these solutions is that they cannot be modified to suit individual firms and tend to be a locked down control system in favour of the principal. This stops agents from using the system properly and instead run their own solution side by side to track customers. This usually eventuates to frustration due to the agents realisation of the benefits of a more complex CRM solution, and that they are unable to fully benefit from their own solution due to the lack of complexity and customisation available.
